Norwegian rapper from Oslo whose on a journey of seducing the world with a poetic lyrical approach to music that you have not seen since the progressive rock era in the 70´s.

Ever since he started rapping back in '05, MesAyah has focused on the listeners and provided them with something new. He wants to evoke feelings and thoughts both on a personal and collective level, and let the audience get more out of the lyrics when giving them another listen. MesAyah has an artistic approach, allowing the listener to interpret his music in their own way rather than adopting his beliefs.

Bonsaiety Records MesAyah and Decknolands Decknical has worked together on several Occasions and over the years built up a sound that fits both of the musical expressions. So this year they joined forces and created the new supergroup Messnical.
On this 4 track EP you will get a summary of the sound picture so far and the first step towards the pure electronic spoken word poetry genre. for those of you who have followed the music for a while would recognize some of the tracks and for the rest of you this is something brand new. this is an EP you have to hear more than once, this is music that grows on you, you have to get used to the sound picture because of all the different elements of it, but at the same time it will be relaxing catchy and soothing to your eardrum, a change from easy digested choruses, to no chorus to profound lyrics that makes you think. Ever since MesAyah met the Norwegian producer Daniel Rønning Stokkan, they have planned to make music together. When they finally sat down in the studio and started playing around, MesAyah had found his man, and his sound. This is the first result out of five singles that will be released before the big albumrelease in May/June 2012.
With this single MesAyah clearify his role as a distinctive lyrical rapper, a poet accompanied by music. And with the playful instrumental it touches so many other genres at the same time, MesAyah finally get to play with his long lost love, Progressive Rock music. This release can be considered Norways, or maybe the worlds first Progressive rap song. A song for both the listener and the LISTENER.

The first poem in 2013

I haven´t touched a pen since the 365 daily challenge

Hello, I finally got around half an hour of peace around here, I have not written or done anything in 3 months, so I went with stream of conscious when I wrote my first verse in 2013. so here it is, no title or anything:

Strangled,

Choking

Almost overdosin

Out of breath,

commotion

With the boredom i´m enrolled with

Poetry in motion is at standstill, force it

Waiting for another day that moves ,in orbit

Breathe with the hill sides

The mill mold the minds,

or at times

Forcing mine to draw the lines

And call the strike to brawl with rhymes

And cause the rise of riots, over nusery chrymes

Im both cursed

and blessed

From birth til death

But my poker face will scream check mate

When you question all the breaths I take

Or question all the moves I make

And question what i really make

I make minds grow beyond my own

I make potions and serve em from my own home

I make questions I can´t answer on my own

So you can debate em when I´m long gone

I make flowers blossom

With a carving at the bottom

I saved a thousand roses, they where starving when I got em

I have changed my ways to make them happy

So I can make my bed and starve the nutrition that i´m lacking
